My teacher helped me to see where I could improve. She highlighted all of my corrections. I was very happy with my teacher."

"I wanted a band score 7 overall and in writing to be able to go to University in Nottingham in the UK. I failed my first test, then I had a few lessons with my teacher Louise. We worked together and she really helped me to see where I needed to improve. I understood the letter writing much more after my lessons. Thank you so much."

Here are some questions that we frequently get asked by students >>

Q. How do I know that you are telling me what I need to know in order to get a high band score of 5.5+?

A. Between the teaching staff here at IELTS Achieve, we have marked hundreds of essays and taught many students from around the world. You may find lots of different information on the internet and it can be hard to decide who to listen to. Here at IELTS Achieve, we have the experience and the knowledge to get you through the IELTS test, gaining your desired band score. Of course, it is not only down to us, you need to put the effort in and listen to the feedback, acting on it and showing us that you are making efforts to improve. Essay corrections take a while, so it is important that you are open to critical feedback and suggestions, looking at the areas you need to work on and actioning any points that have been made.

Q. I want to pay in my own currency, why can't I change the currency offered?

A. The web hosting company does not allow various currency options at the moment. The currency offered is in US Dollars. This will then be converted by your bank when you pay, so the amount will come out in your own currency.

Q. Are you an IELTS Examiner?

A. There are a few teachers working for IELTS Achieve, including ex IELTS examiners as well as highly experienced native teachers who have been teaching IELTS for a number of years.

Q. Where do I get the essay questions and teaching materials from?

A. You will receive all teaching materials from your teacher during the lessons. They will also keep in contact with you, sharing documents and helping you with any questions.

Q. Can I send you photographs of handwritten essays?

A. Please don't! Often they are really difficult to read and the teachers can't edit them. Please send a typed essay, so that it may be easily corrected. You can write the answer out onto paper first in exam conditions, then afterwards type it out to send to your teacher, as this is good practice.

Q. What can I do if I am not 100% happy?

A. If you are not satisfied with your IELTS GT Writing Course, we will happily talk to you about this and see what we can do to improve your experience. We will happily refund you 100% in 30 days, however, if you require a refund for the whole package, you must email us after your first lesson to be eligible for a full refund. If you message after your full course package has ended, you will not be able to have a refund. We do have a really low refund rate, as the majority of our students have a great experience with us. All of the team are dedicated to helping you to achieve your high band score, so they really put the effort in and care about you - the students.
