WHY IS IT IMPORTANT TO GET IELTS ESSAY CORRECTIONS?
Many students practice writing essays through self-study, but in order to gain a high band score of 7+ self-study is rarely enough. By getting your writing assignments corrected by an experienced native IELTS teacher you will see how you can improve your writing, as they will offer detailed feedback, corrections and give you an estimated band score.
It is really difficult for you to be able to achieve a high band score without an experienced IELTS teacher taking a look at your writing and offering you that much-needed feedback.
The IELTS test is not only life changing but it is expensive! Don’t waste your money on repeating the tests if you haven’t prepared properly and had a few essay corrections to check your band score level.

You will be given two documents, one with Writing Task 1 questions and the other with Writing Task 2 questions, these will cover both General Training and Academic.
How to send your essays…
Send your work via email – you can number your essays and send them to the IELTS Achieve email address.
The essay will be marked and returned to you within 48 hours, if you send more than one essay, you will have to be patient while your teacher marks your work.
It is best to send one at a time and wait for feedback before writing another one. This means you can really look at the suggestions and corrections, using that guidance for your next essay before sending it.

Q. How do I know that you are telling me what I need to know in order to get a high band score of 7+?
A. Between the teaching staff here at IELTS Achieve, we have marked hundreds of essays. You may find lots of different information on the internet and it can be hard to decide who to listen to.
Here at IELTS Achieve, we have the experience and the knowledge to get you through the IELTS test, gaining your desired band score.
Of course, it is not only down to us, you need to put the effort in and listen to the feedback, acting on it and showing us that you are making efforts to improve.
Essay corrections take a while, so it is important that you are open to critical feedback and suggestions, looking at the areas you need to work on and actioning any points that have been made.
Q. I want to pay in my own currency, why can’t I change the currency offered?
A. The web hosting company does not allow various currency options at the moment. The currency offered is in US Dollars. This will then be converted by your bank when you pay, so the amount will come out in your own currency.
Q. Are you an IELTS Examiner?
A. There are a few teachers working for IELTS Achieve, including ex IELTS examiners as well as highly experienced native teachers who have been teaching IELTS for a number of years.
Q. Where do I get the essay questions from?
A. You will receive documents with lists of questions for Writing Tasks 1 and 2. This will include both General Training and Academic questions. You may choose from the list and write your essay, including the question you have chosen.
Q. I just sent you five (or more) essays yesterday, why haven’t I got them back yet?
A. One essay will be marked and returned to you within 48 hours, if you send more than one essay, you will have to be patient while your teacher marks your work.
It is best to send one at a time and wait for feedback before writing another one. This means you can really look at the suggestions and corrections, using that guidance for your next essay before sending it.
If you write them all at once, you will not benefit from the feedback and allow room for improvement.
Q. Can I send you photographs of handwritten essays?
A. Please don’t! Often they are really difficult to read and the teachers can’t edit them. Please send a typed essay, so that it may be easily corrected.
You can write the answer out onto paper first in exam conditions, then afterwards type it out to send to your teacher, as this is good practice.
Q. What can I do if I am not 100% happy?
A. If you are not happy with your essay correction or other services from IELTS Achieve, you can email and request a full refund.
Refunds can be given after 30 days from your date of purchase.
If you purchase more than one essay correction and order a package, you MUST say that you are not 100% happy after the first essay correction in order to get a refund for your package. You will only be charged for one essay correction – $20.00.
If after marking 30 essays you decide that were not happy with the feedback given, then this will not be acceptable. It takes a long time to mark all of that work, so if you find you are not happy with the corrections and feedback, you must let us know after your first essay has been marked.
