Sample Letter:

Dear Mr. Roberts,

I hope this letter finds you well. My name is [Your Name], a tenant at [Address], and I am writing to bring to your attention a recurrent problem we’ve been facing with the heating system in our flat.

For the past few weeks, we’ve been without hot water and heating. While I understand that mechanical failures can occur, the consistent absence of these essentials, especially during this chilly season, has made our daily routines quite challenging. We’ve tried layering up, but living without hot water has made even the most mundane tasks, like taking a shower or washing dishes, incredibly inconvenient.

Your maintenance team has made attempts to resolve the issue, for which we are appreciative. However, despite their efforts, the problem persists. Given the duration and severity of this issue, I would like to propose that you consider having a thorough check by expert technicians or even think about replacing the heating system if necessary. It’s essential for us to have a predictable and consistent heating solution, especially as the colder months approach.

I kindly ask for your prompt attention to this matter. Please let us know how you plan to rectify this situation so that we can adjust accordingly.

Thank you for understanding and looking into this matter urgently.

Warm regards,

[Your Name].
