Dear Mrs. Patterson,

I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing to extend an invitation to you for a special occasion. Next week, we will be celebrating my son, Michael’s, 6th birthday. It would be an honor and immense pleasure for my family and me if you could join us for the celebration.

The birthday party will be held on Saturday, 19th August, at our residence. The festivities will begin at 4 pm and will continue until 8 pm. We have planned various fun activities, games, and a delightful dinner to accompany the cake-cutting ceremony. It promises to be an enjoyable evening with close friends and family, and your presence would make it even more special.
